Duties and Responsibilities will entail;
This job exists to coordinate the administration of anaethetics to patients in the Hospital theatre in preparation for surgical operations; provide modern and comprehensive Anaesthetic, Intensive Care and pain management service to patients in the hospital; provide anaesthesia with full range of anaesthetic agents, methods and techniques; observes safety standards in the operation room as related to anaesthetic agents and equipment in the hospital
(i) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;
(ii) Masters degree in Pathology (MMED ANAESTHESIA) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution
(iii) Registered by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Board or Relevant Professional Body
(iv) Member of relevant professional association
(v) Demonstrable skills and experience in various clinical areas with atleast three (3) years experience
(vi) Registered as a consultant by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Board
NOTE:
Candidates shortlisted for the interviews for the above position will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by submitting copies of the following:
• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
• Tax Compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance from the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Compliance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
