Clinical Specialist - Nephrologist

Contract: 5 Years

Duties and Responsibilities will entail; 

Managing patients with acute kidney disorders/injury, prescribe and perform renal replacement therapy (dialysis), participate in multidisciplinary teams, and consult with other specialists. 

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

(i) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;

(ii) Masters degree in Internal Medicine  or equivalent  postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution

(iii)Registered by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Council 

(iv) Member of relevant professional association

(v)Valid Practising License 

(vi) Demonstrable skills and experience in various clinical areas with atleast three (3) years experience.

NOTE:

Candidates shortlisted for the interviews for the above position will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by submitting copies of the following: 

• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)

• Tax Compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

• Clearance from the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

• Compliance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

• Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
