ISRAEL AMBASSADOR TO KENYA VISITS HOMA BAY COUNTY.
The Ambassador of Israel to Kenya H.E Oded Joseph today visited Homa Bay County in a bid to strengthen investment ties.
In a meeting with four County CEC Members, the Ambassador said that Israel will partner with Homa Bay County to offer support in improving agriculture, health, infrastructural technology and water services.
The Ambassador applauded the National Government for sponsoring Agricultural graduates from Kenyan Universities to train in Arava International Center for Agriculture, Israel. Some of the beneficiaries of the program from Homa Bay County were present during the event.
He said that the County of Homa Bay is top of his agenda of his priority during his ambassadorial duty hence challenged the talented graduate beneficiaries to their unique human resource to drive food security in the County.
The Chief of Staff Eliud Otieno, the CEC Member for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries 7 Cooperative Aguko Juma, the CEC Member for Health Services Professor Richard Muga, the CEC Member for Transport & Infrastructure Akoko Nyaoke and the CEC Member for Trade 7 Investment Dr. David Okeyo attended the meeting.
