HOMA BAY COUNTY NURSES RESUMES WORK AFTER A MONTH’S STRIKE

 

 

 

KENYA UNION OF NURSES HOMABAY BRANCH WITH THE COUNTY SECRETARY AFTER AN AGREEMENT TO REPORT BACK TO WORK

 

Kenya National Union of Nurses Homabay branch (KNUN) called off their six weeks strike after signing a favorable return to work formula with the County Government

The agreement was reached following a meeting chaired by the County Secretary Isaiah Ogwe together with the CEC Member for Health Services Professor Richard Muga.

KNUN Homabay branch secretary General Omondi Nyonje directed all Nurses to report to work immediately.

The one strike was called on 23rd of November 2020 by the national Union branch.
