Vocational Training Centers in Ndhiwa and Suba South are set to benefit from tools and equipment worth kshs2 million donated from two UK donors.
The Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven, UK and Trade-Aid Trust Fund have acted upon a request by the county resource mobilizer, Mr. Richard Bonyo to equip the training institutions that will offer a wide variety of technical skills to students in courses such as Masonry, Carpentry, Mechanics and Tailoring.
The tools are already available in Homa Bay County and will be disbursed by H.E Governor Cyprian Awiti once the training institutions re-open in September, 2018.
The donations are coordinated under the name Kenya Youth Project, by Richard Bonyo, County Resource Mobilizer, who says the County expects another consignment soon.
