The New Homa Bay County Secretary to the Public Service Board is Mr. Collins Odhiambo Agutu

Mr. Collins Odhiambo Agutu from Kagan, Rangwe was yesterday sworn in by the county assembly speaker Hon. Samuel Ochillo in the presence of the county executive at the office of the Governor grounds.

The County assembly approved his appointment after having gone through a rigorous process to recruit a new board secretary, following the demise of late Agnes Dwallo last year.

Governor Awiti urged the new CEO to re-energise the board and foster team building to realize efficiency in service delivery. “The board is now fully composed and we therefore expect a shift to the next level,” said Governor Awiti.

“We do hope that the board will continue working with the harmonious co-ordination they have so far,” said Awiti. He added that a lot is expected of them.

Deputy Governor H.E Hamilton Orata, County Assembly speaker Hon. Samuel Ochillo, Public Service Board chair Dan Ogada, board commissioners and county officials were among guests present during the brief ceremony.
